Ages 6 & 7
Our combination Tap/Jazz class
This program will continue with our Tap and Jazz basic skills training appropriate to physical development. This is important to instill rhythm, body awareness and basic dance technique. Our focus on dance class etiquette, following directions, learning combinations and cooperation will continue and grow.
Future Stars 1 will perform in our Winter Showcase with a tap routine.They will also do a tap routine for their first dance festival experience, For the year end recital they will learn a jazz dance that they will perform in addition to their tap.
Future Stars 2 concentrate on learning more technique in tap and jazz to become more proficient dancers. We will be participating in two dance festivals this year for more experience on stage. As dancers continue through our programs we have seen considerable progression from start to finish of this class.
2024 – 25
Future Stars 1 (6 yrs): Tuesday 5:00- 6:00 pm, Thursday 6:15 – 7:15 pm
Future Stars 2 (7 yrs): Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00 pm
