Ages 6 & 7
Our combination Tap/Jazz class
This program will continue with our Tap and Jazz basic skills training appropriate to physical development. This is important to instill rhythm, body awareness and basic dance technique. Our focus on dance class etiquette, following directions, learning combinations and cooperation will continue and grow.
Future Stars 1 will perform in our Winter Showcase with a tap routine and their first experience at a dance festival will also be in tap. In addition, they will learn a jazz routine for year end recital, so they will be on the stage twice.
Future Stars 2 will be starting to concentrate more on learning more technique in tap and jazz to become more proficient dancers. We will be participating in two dance festivals this year for more experience on stage. As dancers continue through our programs we have seen considerable progression from start to finish of this class.
